Second Annual Badger Kickoff Classic at Tolken Creek Disc Golf Complex
It is my great pleasure to invite you to the Second Annual Badger Kickoff Classic. This will be a tournament at Tolken Creek Disc Golf Complex sponsored by the UW-Madison Disc Golf Organization. The first players meeting will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday September 15th. The first round will be followed by a night of camping at the Tolken Creek group campsite. The following morning there will be a 10:00 a.m. players meeting followed by a second round of disc golf. Prizes will be awarded when the second official round concludes, and this will end the tournament.
There will be two divisions for this tournament, a recreational division and an open division. Registration for the open division will be $35, while registration for the recreational division will be $30. Both divisions will play the Saturday round from the amateur tees. The open division will switch to pro tees for the Sunday round while the recreational division stays with the amateur tees. Players in both divisions will be competing for a number of prizes, while players in the open division will be earning points in the Upper Midwest Disc Golf Organization's year long competition. Camping site costs and greens fees will be covered by registration.
Each player who registers will be given a brand new custom stamped disc which were made specifically for this tournament. In addition every registered player in the tournament will be entered into a raffle for a portable disc golf pin at no additional cost!
Please help support the beginning of a new collegiate disc golf year by starting things off with us at Tolken Creek. It is a beautiful well manicured course that will be sure to make for some great discing.
