Madison Area Courses

HIESTAND PARK: East side (Milwaukee St.)

This course is a good mix of winding fairway shots and elevation changes. Hole #1
starts just off of Wittwer Rd. where a message board and picnic table mark the first
tee pads. With cemented Amatuer and Pro tee pads it is an enjoyable challenge for both
novice and advanced players. Come check out the new renovations but please pack out your
own trash.

ELVER PARK: West side (Gammon Rd.)

A great course with a mix of open shots (across a sledding hill) and skill shots through
pines, this course provides a challenging yet enjoyable round for both beginners and pros.
Just like Hiestand, the course provides cemented tee pads for both Ams and Pros. Hole one is located next to a message board to the right of the sledding hill. While trash cans are maintained by Madison Area Disc Golf Club in conjunction with UWDGO,(holes #10-12) we ask that you do not bring glass and please pack out your own trash.

Token Creek Vallarta-Ast Course: East Side (Hwy 51)

This gorgeous course is one of the gems of Southern Wisconsin. With three pin placements that rotate each day, and fairways as manicured as a ball golf course, it is a remarkable experience that will make you want to come back over and over. Camping is also available in this County Park. To maintain such a beautiful course, there is a $5.00 greens fee, or an annual pass which can be purchased through the mail. Please respect these fees, as they all go back into the course.

Driving Directions: from campus take W Washington to Hwy 51, then head North .5 miles past the Interstate, and there will be a sign to the Right for Token Creek. (right after a gas station) Follow the signs through the park (keeping to the right mostly) until you get to Hole #1 marked with a message board and a practice basket on the Right.
